(FWD) –On Wednesday, Lauren Boebert addressed her Democratic colleagues on the House floor and stated that instead of “extreme MAGA,” she be prefers to be called “ultra MAGA.” She later Tweeted about the request.
The term gained prominence in May of last year when President Biden coined the term to describe his political opponents. “Let me tell you about this ultra MAGA agenda,” Biden said.
Some Republicans like Lauren Boebert have chosen to embrace the term.
During the remarks Wednesday, Boebert also claimed she would say her colleagues members of the “Democratic” party when they starting acting democratic – a reference to Trump’s election lies that “Ultra MAGA” continue to perpetuate.
